Pewdiepie Gets Banned From Twitch: He Wasn’t Even Live!

Pewdiepie banned

The popular Youtuber renewed his channel in March with a few streams and subsequently got banned afterwards. The channel was not hacked and we are just as confused!

Pewdiepie was the king of Youtube and still is for many of us! He was the most popular Youtuber out there until Mr Beast claimed that title last year. Even though it is not well known, Pewdiepie has a Twitch account as well. He rarely uses it and barely streams on it enough to be noticed.

However, he suddenly started to stream episodes of Trailer Park Boys on his channel. As always, the internet speculated that Pewdiepie had fallen into the victim of a hacker. However, it seems that the airing was done by CoPilot Media. CoPilot Media is a distribution service that has the rights to the content.

So why did CoPilot Media stream the sitcom?

Copilot Media streamed the sitcom as a test stream for the upcoming Pewdiepie Infinity stream. Pewdiepie infinity is a stream which replays loops of Pewdiepie’s videos on repeat, nonstop!

The confusion sets in as Pewdiepie receives a ban a month after the stream.  With VODs running and Pewdiepie making a single live appearance, there still isn’t a proper reason for his ban. As always, Twitch hasn’t revealed any information regarding the ban. We don’t have a clue on how long the ban lasts either.

Hopefully, we will get some more information regarding the ban and Pewdiepie will get his account back on track! Stay tuned for more!
