Hundred Acre Wood is an upcoming indie game that transforms the wholesome children’s story into a horror game. The happy bear that loves honey will turn out to be a nightmarish monster! It will be your mission to evade the crazed bear as he hunts you down. The dark take on the bear and his giggling friends sure is an interesting concept.
All who has read the children’s story book know of the bear as someone who is wholesome and innocent. With such a pure personality, we all knew it was just a matter of time before someone completely twists it around.
The old narrative follows the life of Pooh as he spends his time with his friends’ christopher Robin and Piglet. As of yet, we don’t know the storyline behind the horror game.What we do know is that the storyline will probably revolve around the player exploring the woods trying to figure out what turned the happy forest into a desolate nightmare. The game will be played in first person, which makes the adventure experience way more immersive.
There isn’t a release date for the game, but we do have news of a trailer launching soon. The game will be available on Steam and is a must have game for both horror and indie lovers alike. We truly believe that Hundred Acre Wood will be another indie success such as the likes of Soul Knight.
