The highly anticipated game from Frictional is now set to release in the month of June.
Amnesia : The Bunker is getting its release date pushed back to June 6th from May 23rd. It seems that the development team is facing some last moment issues that need rectifying. The first person horror game is the latest entry into the Amnesia series from the Swedish developer.
The studio stated that they have discovered multiple rare errors in the game along with some crashes.
They don’t want to release the game without fixing them, ensuring that Amnesia: The Bunker is as close to perfection as they can get.According to Frictional gaming, the only alternative to a push back on the date is for the team to work overtime during the weekends and nights. But, Frictional games have stated that forcing their development team to work overtime is not something they will ever do. Kudos to them for putting their employees and their lives as the first priority.
The certification process for the game can only be done once all the errors are fixed, hence the delay! The process of certifying a game to be released on some platforms is extremely laborious and it’s even worse for console games.
