There is a rumour that Assassins Creed Mirage is getting delayed due to internal struggles. Fans might have to wait a bit longer!
Assassins Creed Mirage was revealed in 2022 as was given a release date in 2023. According to a new rumour, the game will be pushed back from August to October. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux featuring Basim Ibn Ishaq. The character made an appearance in Assassins Creed Valhalla and we are excited to see what’s in store for him.
Who leaked the information?
The leaker on this instance is Tom Henderson who stated that both Assassins Creed Mirage and Assassins Creed Nexus are getting delayed by a few months. Assassins Creed Nexus is a new virtual reality game for the Assassins Creed franchise.
According to Tom Henderson, the delays are for the developers to get an extra few months in order to polish the game.
As gamers, we should be understanding of this as there were multiple triple A games failing miserably in the past few years due to incomplete releases. Star Wars Jedi: Survival and Redfall is another game that is struggling to perform due to bugs and poor optimization. It should be noted that even though Tom Henderson has been reliable in his leaks, its best to wait for an official press release from the developers regarding the delay!
Assassins Creed Mirage will also not be priced at $69.99, instead it will be available for purchase at $49.99. This is due to the game being shorter than the other titles in the franchise. As we suspected, the price is a reflection of game time!
If you are interested in knowing more about the game, make sure to tune into Ubisoft’s presentation on the 12th of June which will most likely shed light on the matter along with a release date for the game.
