Rainbow Six Siege Content Creator Removed From Program Over Racism

A popular content creator known for his Rainbow Six Siege content has been removed from the content creator program. Ubisoft, the company behind the game, has permanently removed the content creator’s weapon charm from the game to show how serious they are about it.

Rainbow Six Siege, like all games, has had instances of racism, misconduct, and toxicity in the community. However, it seems that Ubisoft is not going to tolerate any of it! Considering how competitive PVP games are at the moment, it’s not unnatural to see such behavior. However, such behavior is ordinarily a big no, and Ubisoft is taking a firm stance against it.

The content creator under fire goes by the name of Thaqil.

He was known for his racist jokes and implications. Some may defend his behavior as his streamer personality, but Ubisoft is unwilling to let him tarnish their name. In this instance, the streamer was found to be posing with a banana next to the Rainbow Siege Six operator Castle, he went on to state some questionable racial verbiage against the character as well.

Thaqil has since then issued an apology stating that his racism was just a joke. However, since he broke the official code of conduct issued by Siege, chances are he will not get back his status as a partnered content creator.
