Burning Shores is the latest DLC for Horizon Forbidden West, and it goes live in a couple of days. We have news on its download size and release time!
Horizon Forbidden West made its way out to gamers in February 2022. The game was an improvement from its predecessor Horizon Zero Dawn. Gamers have posted high ratings to the game, praising the visible enhancements from its previous title.
A new DLC was announced to the public in December 2022 by Guerilla Games. The developer team has since then slowly released information regarding the DLC through Sony. The publisher stated how the DLC would improve the game, allowing the software to utilize the power of the PS5 and its hardware entirely.
PlayStation Game Size released Burning Shore’s download size information earlier this morning. The total download will be 16.763 GB of data. The final size of the DLC will be 14.921 GB for Japanese players and 15 GB for US versions. Burning Shores is priced at $19.99, similar to the Frozen Wilds DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn.
We believe the Burning Shores DLC will easily contain 10-plus hours of playable content as the download size is almost double that of Frozen Wilds. Players can also expect additional quests to enjoy after the main storyline.
