Get Ready To Gear Up And Rank Up In Call Of Duty : Warzone 2.

call of duty warzone 2.0 leak

Activision reveals their game plan behind the introduction of ranked play into Call Of Duty : Warzone 2.

Ranked play has always been a super controversial feature in Call of Duty. The aspect of teaming up similar skilled players with others to balance out the competition never really took off with the gaming population. Players have openly hated on skill based matchmaking because of its inconsistencies for as long as ranked existed.

The Warzone 2 battle royale will be the most affected! Players will now have a skill rating which acts as a currency to start up a game. Skill ratings will be awarded to the player based on their performance. If you do well in eliminations, assists and gun skill, you will increase your skill rating.

However, this has a catch! In order to start up a match, you will have to pay a fee using your current skill rating. If you end up reaching the top 10s, you will get a positive rating and if you get eliminated quicker than expected, you will lose your rating!

As with all ranked tiers, Warzone 2 will also have multiple tiers for the player base to traverse. It goes from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent and then into the top 250. The top ranked players will be publicly showcased in the game to appreciate and recognise the player’s dedication.

As of now the ranked system is still in its beta stage. Season 3 Reloaded is in fact the beta launch of the ranked system. Therefore, we urge players to understand that it will not be as polished as those with years of development. Players will just have to wing and see how the ranked play progresses. Fingers crossed!
